We regularly tighten the thumbscrews for incoming e-mail streams, including now.<\/p>\n\n

Update Dec. 14: DMARC verification for incoming e-mail is now also enabled.<\/p>\n\n

For all customers with default filter settings, we are going to, or have already, lowered the so-called quarantine threshold from 0.9 to 0.85. By lowering this threshold, more incoming spam will start to be classified as such.<\/p>\n\n

In addition, all e-mail messages from newly registered domains that are less than one day old are blocked.<\/p>\n\n

Soon we will <\/strong>tighten the thumbscrews a bit further and, in addition to SPF and DKIM, DMARC control for incoming e-mail will also be enabled. In addition, we are considering lowering the quarantine threshold even further but we will let this depend in part on customer feedback and false-positive indications in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
