How do I set up my Exchange Pro mail in Microsoft Outlook 2013?
The most commonly used e-mail client is Microsoft Outlook. It is also a very familiar program to many and therefore probably widely used. Once you are familiar with a program you don’t easily switch to another program. After all, you can read and write with the program and you know exactly what to set where.
Still, we’d like to give you a hand and show you the steps for setting up your Hosted Exchange Pro mailbox below. In fact, this may be different from the usual POP3 or IMAP e-mail addresses.
System requirements:
- Minimum Windows 8.
- Hosted Exchange Pro mailbox.
Make sure you meet the above system requirements.
Follow the instructions for your operating system:
- In the search bar, type
Control Panel
or ” Control Panel. - Go to “User Accounts.
- Click on “E-mail (32 bit).
- Click on ‘View profiles’ and then on
‘Add’.
. - Enter Hosted Exchange as the profile name and click “OK.
- ‘Your name’: your first and last name.
- ‘E-mailadres’: primaire e-mailadres.
- ‘Wachtwoord’: wachtwoord.
- ‘Retype password’: password.
- Click “Next.
- Behind ‘Username’ enter your primary email address, then under ‘Password’ enter your password.
- Click “OK.
- Your e-mail account is configured. Wait until the configuration is complete.
- Once the configuration is complete, click “Finish.
- You are now back in the overview window. To save all settings, click “OK.
- Your e-mail is ready for use.
Want to link a Hosted Exchange Pro mailbox to an existing profile? Then in the ‘Configuration screen (Control Panel)’ click on
E-mail accounts
instead of ‘Add new profile’. Make sure the selected profile is always used. See
Show profiles
, select the profile used and check that the ‘Always use this profile’ option is checked.
