SQR.NL strengthens position through acquisition

Effective May 1, 2020 SQR.NL together with Reyez! of Alkmaar, acquired the Helders-based company Digital4u.

Having already added over 2,000 customers to SQR.NL’s customer base earlier this year -through the acquisition of shared hosting services from a local party- SQR.NL has once again strengthened its position.

Digital4u’s web and e-mail hosting business has been acquired by SQR.NL, part of the Cyso Group, which provides domain name registrations and cloud storage in addition to hosting services. “We are pleased to further expand our leading position in the region towards Den Helder and look forward to working with our new customers.” Thus Sven Visser, director of SQR.NL.

The management and maintenance of the websites and web shops involved in this acquisition will be carried out by Reyez, also based in Alkmaar! They also hire the employees, leaving a familiar point of contact for the 800-plus existing customers. Founder Tom Hes of Reyez! about this new step: “We had been in talks with Digital4U and a possible collaboration for some time. Both agencies serve its own clientele with services such as web development and marketing support. The match was immediately clear. For Reyez! a perfect opportunity to expand our position in the region and be able to offer its expertise to a larger group of entrepreneurs and companies.” This coming period, all customers will be informed by letter about this acquisition and the changes it entails
