Disable WordPress SPAM responses

By default, WordPress allows comments under posts. Chances are spammers are trying to abuse this and your website doesn’t really need this functionality at all.

Follow the steps below to disable WordPress comments (WordPress comments).

1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard(help article)
2. Go to Settings -> Discussion
3. Uncheck Allow people to comment on new posts
