changing the password of a MySQL database user

Follow the steps below to change the password of a MySQL database user in Plesk

1. Log in to Plesk
2. In Plesk, click Databases in the left menu bar
3. In the right menu bar, click User Management
4. Click on the MySQL database user whose password you want to change
5. Click Generate to set a new secure password
   1. and possibly on Show to show the password
6. Click OK to set the new password
