SIDN increases all prices by 10%

The Stichting Internet Domeinregistratie Nederland (SIDN) has announced a 10% increase in all prices effective January 1, 2024. The foundation writes: “Because of the increase in costs due to high inflation and investments in our ICT systems, we are raising our prices by 10% starting in 2024. This adjustment is necessary for a healthy and stable position in the long term. “

This means that our purchase price for a .nl domain name will increase by 10% and we may also adjust our selling price. The last time we did that was in early 2021.

At the time of writing this article, it is not yet clear to what extent we will pass on the SIDN’s price increase to our clients. More on that later, of course!
