Customize the protection of your VPS

In this article, we explain how to enable or disable protection for your VPS. By enabling protection, you ensure that a VPS is not accidentally modified or deleted (for example, by an inattentive colleague) and by disabling protection, you ensure that this is precisely what is possible.

enable or disable the protection of your VPS

  • Log in to My Hosting with your username and password.
  • Click on “Services” and then click on the appropriate VPS.

In the ‘VPS properties’ table, check behind the ‘VPS protection ‘ line whether the protection of your VPS is currently on or off.

To adjust the VPS protection, click the “Adjust Protection” button under “Available Actions.
