New Outlook for Windows IMAP support

We understand that you prefer to keep your stuff up-to-date at all times, and we as a hosting company fully support this as well. However, we do advise you to wait with the latest update of Microsoft Outlook, especially if you use IMAP via, for example, our e-mail hosting packages. By the way, there is a chance that Microsoft will automatically update this and you will no longer be able to view emails via the new variant of Outlook.

The reason we indicate this is because IMAP does not work properly on the latest version of Outlook.

This may cause problems with email synchronization. We recommend using the classic Outlook version for your e-mail until Microsoft fully fixes the problem. Source: Upgrading to new outlook will not accept IMAP accounts

What are my options?

Option 1: use a different e-mail client

Option 2: download the classic Outlook

Outlook has given the option to download and use the classic version of Microsoft Outlook. The advantage of this is that you will then work again in the old familiar Outlook variant that you are used to.

Option 3: use the webmail

Webmail is a program that allows you to read and send e-mail on any computer or cell phone using your browser. You can access your webmail by going to https://webmail.jouwdomeinnaam.nl in your web browser. If your domain is ‘example.com’, you can access the webmail at https://webmail.voorbeeld.nl.
