Update WordPress, themes and plugins via WP toolkit

In Plesk, you can easily manage your WordPress website through the WP Toolkit. The WP Toolkit is a handy application that allows you to quickly see in one overview whether there are updates or security measures. And this without having to log into the wp-admin.

Perform updates via the WP toolkit

1. Log in to My Hosting
2. Click on Services
3. Click on the appropriate subscription
4. Click the Login button on the Plesk control panel
5. In Plesk, go to WordPress through the left menu
6. You can now see under Status whether there are updates or Security measures:
   
7. Click Install plugin updates or Install theme updates to see what updates are available and run them
8. In the next screen you can select and perform the updates all at once or perform it per update.
   Tip Before performing updates always make a backup via the Back Up / restore option. This way you can always go back to the previous version in case of problems.
9. Want to enable Autoupdate? Then click on Plugins or Themes and activate the Autoupdate option or choose Autopdate all plugins:
   
   
10. Now you no longer have to worry about whether your WordPress website is up to date.
