How do you fix my hacked WordPress website?

To thoroughly clean a WordPress website, the website must be temporarily disabled. This stops any malicious processes and gives us time to clean up infections and improve security.

We fully scan and clean the website, ensuring no malicious files remain. We update your WordPress and PHP version to the latest versions and reinstall the core of your CMS if necessary. After checking and cleaning the website, we provide extra security by enabling automatic updates and taking other measures.

Finally, we check the website again and re-enable it. You get your website back and we ask you to perform a check yourself. Of course, we are available for further support if you continue to experience problems or need other assistance.

What if I'm not a customer yet?

We have to be honest: we cannot repair your website if it is with another hosting provider. Our repair tools only work within our own network.

What we can do for you is make a prognosis if you are not yet a customer. If problems are identified, we can transfer your website to us for free and then repair it with our tools. In rare cases, the changes made by the website car wash may not have the desired effect. This can happen, for example, due to an outdated WordPress version or a problem that can no longer be solved. In such a situation, it is possible to restore a backup of the website. Please note: By restoring a backup, the problems we have solved for you may reoccur. It is therefore important to carefully consider this before deciding to restore a backup.
