git via SSH

SSH is available to customers using our largest web hosting package, WordPress package or our Reseller packages.

git via SSH

If SSH is available for your package, you have access to a chrooted SSH shell. A chrooted SSH shell means that you can use SSH within a protected environment. In addition, this means that you cannot use all the programs that you normally access via SSH without fail. On this page, we keep track of which programs can be used.

Because you cannot use all the programs, it is not currently possible to use git properly via SSH.
