Adding domain name to Microsoft 365 tenant
Follow these steps to add a domain to your Microsoft 365 tenant.
- Go to the management center at https://admin.microsoft.com
- Go to the “Settings” page -> “Domains
- Select ‘Add domain’
- Enter the name of the domain you want to add and select next
- Choose the selected option, “Add a TXT record to the domain’s DNS.
- For TXT validation out by adding the TXT record to your domain name’s DNS:
Manage DNS through My Hosting - Click Continue
- Then you will see a page with all the remaining records you need to add to the domain name to transfer the mail to Microsoft 365
If the DNS is at Hosting.NL, perform these steps - Note: If you want to configure the mail later, because not all email accounts or licenses are linked yet, deselect all services and click Continue or in the previous step for domain connection choose ‘More options’ and select ‘Skip this for now’
- Select‘Finish
