How do I set up my Exchange Pro mail in Mac OS X Mail?
Apple’s default e-mail client is Mail. So if you have a Mac, we recommend using the mail client Mail provided by Apple to configure your Hosted Exchange Pro account.
Through Apple Mail, you can quickly and easily configure your Exchange account. Since you’re using Apple’s provided software, you’ll also experience few problems syncing your e-mail. You can also directly use iCal, Contacts and Notes that come with the e-mail client. Follow the steps in the guide below and get started with your mailbox right away.
System requirements:
- Minimum MAC OS X 10.6, Snow Leopard.
- Hosted Exchange Pro mailbox.
Make sure you meet the above system requirements.
- Open “Mail.
- Choose “Mail” -> “Preferences.
- Click on the “Accounts” tab.
- Click on the ‘plus’ icon at the bottom to add a new account.
- Fill in the following fields completely:
‘Full name’: your name.
‘E-mail address’: primary e-mail address.
‘Password’: password.
‘Internal & External URL’: outlook.exchange-login.net - Click “Continue.
- Tick which functionalities should become active.
- Your e-mail is ready for use.
