Activating your .dk domain name

After your .dk domain name registration is submitted to us, the registration of your domain name is on hold because the .DK registry requires the domain name owner to validate the registration.

The .DK registry requires .dk domain names to be activated within 25 days. After activation, the .DK Registry will assign the domain name. If the domain name is not activated within 30 days, the domain name application will be deleted.

This is how to activate a .dk domain name

To activate your .dk domain name, you will need the user ID and pin code found in the confirmation email sent by the .DK registry. Then login to DK-Hostmaster, or send us the login details so we can activate the domain name for you.

If you do not respond within the time given, the .DK registry will cancel the domain name reservation without warning and the domain name will become available to all.
