SPF error message when using own e-mail server
Are you using our email filter from SpamExperts/filtermail in combination with your own email environment? Then people sending e-mail to your domain may see an SPF error message. That error message is similar to the one below:
H=server5.filtermail.eu [93.94.228.134]
X=TLS1.2:ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:128 CV=no F= rejected RCPT :
SPF: 93.94.228.134 is not allowed to send mail from jouwdomein.nl:
Please see http://www.open-spf.org/Why : Reason: mechanism
What’s going on
There is an SPF check on the e-mail environment to which e-mail for yourdomain.nl is forwarded. That won’t go well because that e-mail environment will perform SPF checking in conjunction with the last “hop” in the e-mail path, our e-mail filter. And our email filter is obviously not authorized to send email on behalf of the domains sending email to yourdomain.nl.

How do I fix this
To resolve this SPF error message, disable the SPF check on your own e-mail environment. SPF checking will still be performed on our email filter as much as anything else. SPF control should not be disabled within our SpamExperts email filter.
