The prices we charge move daily with the purchase price of our suppliers. Every day there are Top Level Domains (TLDs) whose price changes. Sometimes they change up and sometimes down, which can be due to currency fluctuations in the world market or simply because a supplier (registry) raises (or thus lowers!) its prices.

In addition, like all businesses, we face rising labor costs and, as a hosting company in particular, rising costs for energy and hardware.

We try to explain those rising costs clearly and pass them on in a fair way. We will continue to do so in the same transparent way, as you have come to expect from us.

Contrary to what we currently see happening at some other hosting companies in the Netherlands, where prices sometimes rise by a few but often by tens of percent, we deliberately choose to let the prices for domain name registrations rise only along with the price increase of the tld supplier and in addition index the price for hosting products by 5.5%.

Price increase domain name extensions

Specifically, we are increasing the base price for .nl by €0.90 and for .net by €1.32 per year. Domain name registrations with the .eu, .be, .fr, .de, .org and .com tld are not increased in price and other tlds will be leveled with the then current sale price on Jan. 2, as they are every year.

Price increase hosting products

The indexation for the price for hosting products was calculated on Nov. 29 and is based on the price increases announced by our suppliers at that time. For example, our data center supplier raised power rates by 15%….

On Jan. 2, 2024, the change for new orders and the price of products you purchase from us will be implemented.
